Terms of Use

Last updated 24 July 2026

The important part, up front

We connect travellers with safari operators. We do not run safaris, take bookings, or handle any payment for a trip. Your contract for the safari itself is with the operator, not with us.

1. Who these terms apply to

Safari Trip Finder is operated by Guudwork Marketplace (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/227309/07), trading as Safari Trip Finder ("we", "us", "our"). These terms apply to everyone who uses safaritripfinder.com, whether you are a traveller comparing safaris or a tour operator listing them. Some sections apply to one group only and say so.

By using the platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What we do, and what we do not do

What we do:

  • Publish tour listings supplied by operators
  • Let you compare and filter those listings
  • Pass your enquiry to the operator you chose
  • Review operators before their listings go live

What we do not do:

  • Operate, guide or supply any safari
  • Take bookings or accept payment for a trip
  • Act as an agent for either party
  • Guarantee the accuracy of information an operator supplies
  • Guarantee that any safari will be available or take place

3. For travellers

Using the platform is free

Comparing safaris and sending enquiries costs you nothing. We add no commission or booking fee to whatever the operator quotes you.

Your contract is with the operator

If you book a safari, that agreement is between you and the operator. Their terms, cancellation policy, payment schedule and insurance requirements apply, not ours. Read them before you pay anything.

Confirming your email

We ask you to confirm your email address with a short code before your enquiry is sent. This protects operators from fake enquiries. If you do not confirm within 48 hours the enquiry is deleted.

Listing information

Prices, itineraries and availability are supplied by operators and can change. We show them in good faith but cannot guarantee they are current. Always confirm the detail directly with the operator before committing.

Fair use

Do not submit enquiries you have no intention of following up, use false details, or send automated or bulk enquiries. We may block accounts or addresses that do.

4. For tour operators

Applying to list

Listing is free. Every application is reviewed before it goes live and we may decline or remove any listing at our discretion, including where information is inaccurate, misleading or in breach of these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload. By uploading it you give us permission to display it on the platform and use it in marketing for the platform. You confirm that you own the rights to the photographs and text you upload, or have permission to use them.

You must not upload content you do not have the rights to. If a rights holder contacts us we will remove the content and may suspend the account.

Credits and enquiries

  • Credits are bought in advance and used to receive enquiries. One credit covers one enquiry.
  • Every enquiry has had its email address confirmed by the traveller before it reaches you.
  • A credit pays for the enquiry, not for a booking. We cannot guarantee a traveller will reply, book, or be a good fit. Some enquiries will not convert. That is the nature of lead generation.
  • Credits are not refundable for cash and have no monetary value outside the platform. They do not expire.
  • Where an enquiry is clearly fraudulent, duplicated or malformed, contact us and we may credit your account. This is at our discretion.
  • You can set daily and monthly spending limits, and switch off automatic delivery. Enquiries held by a limit wait for you rather than using credits.

Payment

Credits are paid for by bank transfer using the reference shown in your account. Credits are released once the payment reflects, usually within one to three business days.

How you must treat travellers

  • Use their details only to respond to their enquiry
  • Do not add them to a marketing list without their consent — this is a POPIA obligation, not only ours
  • Do not sell or pass their details to anyone else
  • Reply promptly and honour the pricing you advertised

Breaching this may result in suspension without refund of unused credits.

Reviews

Reviews come from travellers and are moderated before publication. You may reply publicly to any review. You may not write reviews of your own business, ask anyone to write a false review, or offer anything in exchange for a review. Doing so will result in removal from the platform.

Closing your account

You may stop listing at any time. Unused credits are not refunded in cash. If we close your account for breaching these terms, unused credits are forfeited.

5. Reviews and content standards

Reviews must come from a real experience with the operator. We remove reviews that:

  • Are not based on a genuine trip or enquiry
  • Contain abusive, defamatory or discriminatory language
  • Include personal information about third parties
  • Appear to be written by a competitor or by the operator themselves

We moderate reviews but do not verify every claim in them. Reviews reflect the opinion of the traveller, not ours.

6. Our liability

We provide the platform as it is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We are not responsible for the safaris themselves. That includes the conduct of any operator, the quality or safety of a trip, cancellations, changes, injuries, losses, or money paid to an operator. Your agreement for the trip is with the operator and any dispute is between you and them.

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for anything arising out of your use of the platform is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. For travellers, who pay us nothing, that means we accept no financial liability.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act.

6a. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these terms, your content, or your dealings with any other user or operator through the platform.

7. Travel is your responsibility

Visas, vaccinations, malaria prophylaxis, travel insurance and your own safety remain your responsibility. Safaris involve wild animals and remote areas and carry inherent risk. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, including medical evacuation cover.

8. Intellectual property

The Safari Trip Finder name, logo, design and platform code belong to Guudwork Marketplace (Pty) Ltd. Tour content belongs to the operators who uploaded it. You may not copy, scrape or republish content from this platform without permission.

9. Suspending or closing accounts

We may suspend or close any account that breaches these terms, submits false information, harms other users, or attempts to interfere with the platform. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For material changes affecting operators, we will email you before they take effect. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.

12. Getting hold of us
